None of this might have mattered if this hotel was at a modest price but because this was a peak period our room came to almost $700 with all the taxes and fees. Not sure I would have wanted it if there were because every time I went by the pool it was filled with kids splashing around. The pool was nice but there was no bar or food service. There was not even coffee available anywhere in the hotel. At 930/10 the other mornings the wait was an hour or more. Two mornings we were downstairs before 8AM (pretty early for a vacation) and were told it would be 20-30min before we could order. we tried there was no availability for any of the 5 nights of our stay. The hotel sent an email 6 days before our arrival saying if you want dinner at our restaurant you must book ahead. We were not interested in one of the mega resorts directly on the water thought this would be a good compromise.
